The natural structure of the land on which the stadium was built has been preserved, and the tribune section is aligned with the slope of the land. The facility was completed and put into service in 1962. The efforts of Naili Moran and Mehmet Ali Yalım, who have made significant contributions to Turkish sports, are important in the construction of the facility. Athletics competitions were held at our campus until 1975 since there were not any suitable areas in Ankara in those years.
