The first of METU International Spring Festival was organized by International Youth Society (UGT) on 11-21 May 1987. The International Spring Festival organized by UGT and by the contribution of other societies, has turned into an important tradition of our university, and is the first institutionalized university festival. Every year in May, theater, exhibitions, dance shows, conversations, panels, films, dance performances and competitions are held in addition to the international fairs, stadium and indoor concerts during the Spring Festival.
