METU Contemporary Dance Ensemble (ODTÜÇDT) was established in 1987 as an amateur student group within the body of METU Cultural Affairs, it is Turkey's first modern dance ensemble. The activities of the ensemble, which meet the Ankara audience every year through original choreographies made by their own dancers, are not limited to technical training, but also creativity, improvisation and choreography, installation and theoretical discussions, "light", "sound", "decor", "costume" among the technical team. It also includes workshops on “make-up”.
