Thermally stimulated currents in layered Ga4SeS3 semiconductor
Aytekin, S; Yuksek, NS; Goktepe, M; Hasanlı, Nızamı; Aydinli, A (Wiley, 2004-10-01)
Thermally stimulated current (TSC) measurements are carried out on nominally undoped Ga4SeS3 layered semiconductor samples with the cur-rent flowing along the c-axis in the temperature range of 10 to 150 K. The results are analyzed according to various methods, such as curve fitting, initial rise and Chen's methods, which seem to be in good agreement with each other. Experimental evidence is found for the presence of three trapping centers in Ga4SeS3 with activation energies of 70, 210 and 357 meV. The calc...
Thermally stimulated current in layered semiconductor TlInS2 with incommensurate phase
Ozdemir, S; Suleymanov, RA; Civan, E; Firat, T (1996-05-01)
The thermally stimulated current (TSC) is studied in the temperature range between the commensurate phase (CP) and incommensurate phase (ICP) in layered semiconductor TIInS2. It is shown that the successive thermocyclings between the CP and ICP lead to remarkable changes in the TSC spectrum. The changes in the TSC spectrum are explained in the framework of the model which is based on the interaction of modulation structure with the traps in TIInS2. In order to obtain the straightforward information about th...
Thermally stimulated currents in n-InS single crystals
Hasanlı, Nızamı; Yuksek, NS (Elsevier BV, 2003-03-24)
Thermally stimulated current measurements are carried out on as-grown n-InS single crystals in the temperature range of 10-125 K. Experimental evidence is found for four trapping centers present in InS. They are located at 20, 35, 60 and 130 meV. The trap parameters have been determined by various methods of analysis, and they agree well with each other.
Thermally stimulated current measurements in as-grown TIGaSeS layered single crystals
YILDIRIM, TACETTİN; Hasanlı, Nızamı (Elsevier BV, 2009-11-01)
Charge carrier traps in as-grown TIGaSeS layered single crystals were studied using thermally stimulated current measurements. The investigations were performed in temperatures ranging from 10 to 100 K. The experimental evidences were found for the presence of one shallow hole trapping center in TIGaSeS, located at 12 meV from the valence band. The trap parameters have been calculated using various methods of analysis, and these agree well with each other. Its capture cross-section and concentration have be...
Thermally stimulated currents in layered semiconductor Tl4In3GaS8
Hasanlı, Nızamı; Mogaddam, N. A. P. (IOP Publishing, 2006-09-01)
We have carried out thermally stimulated current measurements on as-grown Tl4In3GaS8 layered single crystals in the temperature range 10-90 K with different heating rates of 0.10-0.30 K s(-1). The data were analysed by curve fitting, heating rates and isothermal decay methods. The results were in good agreement with each other. Experimental evidence was found for one trapping centre in Tl4In3GaS8 crystal with an activation energy of 12 meV. The capture cross section and concentration of the traps were found...
