A proper simulation code developed to predict the behavior of stores after being released from a helicopter is presented. The effect of various inflow models on the collision of the store with the helicopter body is given. Also given is the effect of inflow model on the trajectory of the unguided missile launced from the helicopter. It is shown that the simulation code can predict unsafe cases and a useful analysis tool to determine critical flight conditions before carrying out actual flight tests.
