Coast Guard boats, particularly those operating in the Aegean Sea, require enhanced performance and operational capabilities. The application of hydrofoils to vessels such as the KAAN-19 is a practical approach to improving hull efficiency. It is critical to carry out research on hydrofoil usage on boats since there is limited research available in the literature. The effect of various hydrofoil dimensions and profiles on lift and drag coefficients is investigated using ANSYS Fluent in this study. Following this, numerical analysis carried out to determine the effect of different Reynolds Numbers on hydrofoil dimensioning. Then, calculations are performed to determine whether cavitation occurs or not using different Reynolds numbers for different Angle of Attacks. The findings of this research stated that the NACA 0012 profile having a 10-degree angle of attack is the most efficient case in terms of Cl/Cd ratio. Also, the results showed that in the case of high Reynolds numbers a decrease is observed in span length.
