The paper explores the labour market differences between Turkish and Bangladeshi immigrants in London. The labour market analysis of the first and second generation immigrants highlights the generation differences. The following aspects were investigated: (1) Employment and unemployment, (2) Self-employment and employment, (3) Occupational attainment, (4) Human capital. The data used was collected in 1988 by a research team under the author's instructions. Father and son pairs from the Turkish and Bangladeshi immigrants were interviewed to obtain 600 questionnaires.
