The practical applicability of organocatalysis is limited by high catalyst loading requirements or difficulties in recovering and reusing catalysts. In this thesis, as a new topic, reusable catalysts were synthesized by combining organocatalysts with π-conjugated structures, and their catalytic activities were evaluated. In the first part of the study, monomers were obtained by combining the 2,5-di(2-thienyl)pyrrole (TPT) with L-Proline and TEMPO units via click reaction. After the synthesis and characterization of organocatalysts, their electrochemical properties were investigated with CV, DPV, and UV-Vis analyses. Then, the immobilization of organocatalysts was achieved by coating them on ITO via electrochemical polymerization. Among the synthesized catalysts, the TEMPO-containing catalyst (PTPT-T) was tested in the oxidation reaction of benzyl alcohol to evaluate its catalytic activity. The result of the study proved the reusability of the TEMPO-containing catalyst (PTPT-T) up to four cycles.
