The aim of perceptually optimized video coding is to maximize compression efficiency by utilizing the properties of the Human Visual System. In the latest coding standards, such as HEVC/VVC, novel coding algorithms have been proposed for this purpose. In this thesis, an analysis of parameter sensitivity of these algorithms have been done. In particular, we analyzed the algorithm that is based on visual sensitivity weights to improve baseline HEVC. Within the scope of the thesis, we evaluated the performance of the algorithm using different complexity videos coded with different bitrates.
