This paper presents a systematic comparison of agricultural trade models in the literature, which are used to analyze the effects of agricultural policies on supply, demand, agricultural trade balance and prices. In the paper, the models arc reviewed and compared according to their structural and temporal properties and coverages. The models are also compared with respect to their main emphases and policy quantification methods.
