This study delves into the intricate connections among Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ), job satisfaction, and productivity in contemporary workplaces, specifically focusing on office settings. It acknowledges modern occupational environments' diverse and dynamic nature, emphasizing the significance of considering workplace heterogeneity and associated hazards. IEQ, comprising visual comfort, acoustic comfort, thermal comfort, and indoor air quality emerges as a critical determinant influencing well-being, job satisfaction, and productivity. The research aims to explore the evolving work conditions for office workers influenced by societal changes, technological advancements, and flexible work methods. A structured online questionnaire was utilized to collect quantitative data, including 380 workers in office settings in Ankara, Turkey. Statistical analysis employed the Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and correlation analysis. The findings achieved valuable insights into the relationship between IEQ factors and job satisfaction. Specifically, among IEQ factors, visual conditions were found to significantly impact job satisfaction and productivity more than acoustic, temperature, and humidity conditions in office settings. By elucidating the quantitative relationships among IEQ factors, productivity, and job satisfaction, this study research offers strategic guidance for organizations navigating the evolving of workplaces while prioritizing employee productivity and satisfaction.
