This paper aims at demonstrating an application of log-linear models which have been gaining popularity since the 1970s for the analysis of categorical data. Actual mobility data obtained from Institute of Population Studies of Hacettepe University (1988) are used for the application. For didactic reasons only three variables are included in the analysis. Models are generated and tested and the results are interpreted. Computer outputs for the preparation of data are given in the appendices in order to assist the users.
