In this paper a method of calculating estimates of tariff averages for sectors is briefly explained. In actual estimation of sectoral tariff averages for Turkish industries an attempt is also made to take effects of quantitative import restrictions into account. Application results, which are based on the Turkish data disaggregated into a fiftysector level with forty sectors producing tradeable s , are reported.
