The elasticity of substitution of Greek exports for Turkish exports is estimated in order to indicate· the relationship between the change in Turkish competitive position in EEC and the change in the volume of Turkish exports due to relative price variations as a result of removal barriers to the entry of Greek goods into the EEC.
