İnci Aslanoğlu was born in 1935. He graduated from TED Ankara College in 1955. He completed his undergraduate education at METU Department of Architecture in 1960. Aslanoğlu, who received his master's degree in 1961, received his doctorate in the field of Restoration and Architectural History in 1979 with his thesis titled "Architecture of the Early Republican Era (1923-1938)", which he prepared at ITU under the supervision of Doğan Kuban. He started his academic career at METU Department of Architecture in 1963 and continued until his retirement in 2002. XV. He received the "Achievement Award for Contribution to Architecture" within the scope of the National Architecture Exhibition and Awards.
