A common trend of increase in high frequency emissions with orders greater than 40, i.e. supraharmonics, in distribution systems is observed due to popularization of power electronics with high switching frequencies. Despite this rapid population, there are no regulations concerning the monitoring and assessment of supraharmonics. In this paper, voltage supraharmonics in the Turkish Distribution Grid is monitored. The process involved gathering field data from various locations and load types, including industrial, commercial, residential, and hospital loads, across 12 different locations. The duration of data collection varied between 25 to 92 days, after which the data was analyzed by calculating total harmonic distortion values and examining oscillographic records. The results are used for evaluating the threat of voltage supraharmonics pose.
