This paper presents a passive analysis method for determining the spatio-temporal characteristics of sound fields in small rooms. The analysis finds an approximate directional reflectogram (ADR) which reveals the approximate arrival directions, time delays and amplitudes of the direct sound and early reflections without using a special or known sound source. The method of airborne laser scanning - also named as ALS - has recently turned out to be an efficient way for generating high quality digital surface and elevation models. In this work, wavelet-based outlier detection of airborne laser scanning data is discussed. The task is to investigate the effect of wavelet-based outlier detection for post-processing. Data and results are analyzed and visualized by using a MATLAB program which was developed during this work.
