An accurate mathematical model of fixed frequency excited fluxgate current sensor has been developed. The excitation voltage source is square-wave, and the BH characteristic of a magnetic core is based on a continuous function. Simulation results and experimental verifications confirm that the model accurately represents the DC transfer characteristics of the sensor.
