The multipole moments of the JP=3- tensor mesons are obtained using light-cone sum rules. Our results are compared with the predictions of the light-cone helicity formalism within the framework of SU(3) flavor symmetry. We observe a good agreement between the two approaches. The obtained multipole moments of tensor mesons provide deeper insights into their properties and better understanding of the strong and electromagnetic decay channels of these mesons.
