This qualitative study aims to analyze the Updated Early Childhood Education (ECE) Program and the Century of Türkiye Education Model Early Childhood Education Program, two national curricula that are in use simultaneously and alternatively. A document analysis was conducted on both programs to investigate how digital technology was integrated into early childhood education. A systematic analysis was performed based on a list of criteria derived from current literature and expert opinions. This list of criteria comprises the themes of (1) the context of the program, (2) program goals, (3) processes, (4) course resources/materials, and (5) assessments. According to the findings from the Updated ECE Program, digital technology is most integrated into the social and emotional development area. Among the in-school learning centers integrated with digital technology are reading and listening centers, science centers, and writing awareness centers. Furthermore, digital literacy skills, such as using technology responsibly and ensuring internet safety, were identified. The analysis of the Century of Türkiye Education Model shows that digital technology is most integrated into the social area skills. The in-school learning centers integrated with digital technology are book centers and music centers. In addition, digital literacy skills, such as accessing digital information and understanding digital communication, were found. The findings were discussed in the final section of the study, and recommendations for ECE stakeholders were offered.
