When we moved on to the upper grades, we would take part of the Surveying Courses in the Th3 class and do the practical exercises on the METU grounds... We would prepare the Sewer Excavation and Traffic Road Cross-Sections that our professors asked us to do and submit them as class assignments (every 15 days)... This way, when we went to the construction site, we would learn how to use surveying tools and make calculations practically. (Hüseyin Kabahasanoğlu Notes)
