In the academic year 2023-2024, research on Hobbes has been pursued through seminars, colloquia and publications, to which this Bulletin bears witness. Hobbes' thought has been approached in two ways: on the one hand, the traditional historiographical research aimed at gaining abetter understanding of this thought both in its time and in its internal structure. On the other hand, the attempt to confront this thought with our own time in order to determine whether the concepts it brings into play are still valid or have become obsolete. The second approach usually aims to find out whether the categories that were valid for modern thought are still valid for us, or to what extent they need to be modified
