The current study aims to investigate the relationships between pre-service early childhood teachers’ professional self-efficacy, psychological resilience, and perceived social support and to determine whether these factors vary according to demographic characteristics such as gender, grade level, and university type. A correlational model from quantitative research designs was utilized in the study. Data were collected using convenience sampling through the Demographic Information Form, Preschool Teacher Professional Self-Efficacy Scale, Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale Short Form, and Revised Form of the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support. The participants of the research consisted of 410 pre-service early childhood teachers enrolled at public and private universities in Ankara. The obtained data were analyzed using the IBM SPSS Statistics 31.0 program. Descriptive statistics were employed to reveal the general trends of the variables, and inferential statistics were utilized to answer the research questions. According to the results of the independent samples t-test, a significant difference in psychological resilience scores was found only in terms of gender among the participants’ demographic variables. There was no statistically significant difference in terms of other demographic variables. The multiple linear regression analysis revealed that the model was significant. The results showed that psychological resilience and perceived social support together were significant predictors of professional self-efficacy, and that perceived social support was a stronger predictor.
