The study aimed to investigate teachers’ technology integration self-efficacy (TISE) levels as well as their perceptions and experiences regarding technology integration within the Century of Türkiye Education (Maarif) Model (TYMM). The study employed an explanatory sequential mixed-methods design. Quantitative data were collected using the “Technology Integration Self-Efficacy Scale” from 191 teachers with diverse characteristics in terms of gender, age, and teaching experience. The participants were chosen with purposeful sampling. Following data screening procedures, incomplete and invalid responses were removed, and the remaining data were analyzed using SPSS. Qualitative data were collected through semi-structured interviews with 13 volunteer teachers and analyzed using thematic analysis. The quantitative findings indicated that teachers’ TISE levels differed significantly according to gender, age, teaching experience, openness to new education technologies, self-evaluated technology integration competence, and self-evaluated technology use for communication. The qualitative findings revealed considerable variation in teachers’ digital backgrounds, competencies, and attitudes toward technology integration. Teachers reported that the TYMM introduced QR code into textbooks and encouraged more diverse assessment approaches. However, the successful integration of technology was influenced by curriculum-related, teacher-related, student-related, school-related, and technology-related factors. To support effective implementation, participants emphasized the need for improved school infrastructure, digital literacy instruction for students, comprehensive professional development for stakeholders, and stronger implementation and monitoring mechanisms. Overall, teachers expressed largely consistent perceptions and experiences regarding technology integration regardless of their reported TISE levels.
