In this thesis, we review foundational literature investigating the properties and characterizations of core sets of complex manifolds, which are constructed utilizing plurisubharmonic functions. In the first framework, the relationship between the core sets and plurisubharmonic separation of complex manifolds is established, followed by an analysis of their geometric construction. In the second framework, a variety of core sets are defined depending on the differentiability and continuity of the underlying plurisubharmonic functions, and the relations between these sets are thoroughly investigated.
