Tunneling effect and impact sensitivity of certain explosives
Türker, Burhan Lemi (Elsevier BV, 2009-09-30)
Certain set of benzenoid nitro compounds are considered for DFT calculations at the level of B3LYP/631G(d). The output data are statistically analyzed in order to get some correlations between the various quantum chemical properties and the impact sensitivities of the compounds considered. Two regression equations are given. All the analyses indicate that the impact sensitivity values of these structures are highly dependent on the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital energy and partially dependent on the hi...

CROWD COUNTING, LOCALIZATION AND ANOMALY DETECTION WITH CONVLSTM BASED CNN USING SYNTHETIC IMAGES
Coşkun, Muhammet Furkan; Akar, Gözde; Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (2022-6-28)
Crowd analysis related tasks have a wide range of real-life applications such as mass surveillance, safety monitoring, disaster management, traffic control and public area design. There are different novel works on crowd counting, localization and abnormal event detection tasks in the computer vision literature. In this study, we propose a ConvLSTM based Convolutional Neural Network to solve these three problems together in a single network. Our proposed model is a combination of P2P-Net architecture, whic...
Transfer Learning-Based Crack Detection by AutonomousUAVs
Küçüksubaşı, Fatih; Sorguç, Arzu (2018-07-20)
Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) have recently shown great performance collecting visual data through autonomous exploration and mapping in building inspection. Yet, the number of studies is limited considering the post processing of the data and its integration with autonomous UAVs. These will enable huge steps onward into full automation of building inspection. In this regard, this work presents a decision making tool for revisiting tasks in visual building inspection by autonomous UAVs. The tool is an imp...
