A CORRELATION FOR OPTIMUM FIN SPACING OF VERTICALLY-BASED RECTANGULAR FIN ARRAYS SUBJECTED TO NATURAL CONVECTION HEAT TRANSFER
Yazicioglu, Burak; Yüncü, Hafit (2009-01-01)
A new expression has been developed for prediction of the optimal fin spacing for vertical rectangular fins protruding from a vertical rectangular base. This expression was determined using the results of experimental investigation available in the literature over a wide range of test variables. Data collated from literature covered the range of fin spacing from 2.85 mm to 85.5 mm. The range of basc-to-ambient temperature difference was quite extensive, from 14 degrees C to 162 degrees C. The fin length ran...
A correlation study between Hveem and marshall stabilities of the bituminous mixtures.
Akdeniz, Ahmet; Department of Civil Engineering (1967)
A multivariate comparison of computer anxiety levels between candidate and tenured school principals
Baloğlu, Mustafa; Cevik, Vildan (Elsevier BV, 2009-09-01)
School administrators should be able to follow technological advancements and promote the role of leadership with regard to technology in their institutions. However, affective factors such as computer anxiety might hinder administrators' roles in this process. Therefore, this study investigated multivariate differences between candidate and tenured administrators on computer anxiety levels, after accounting for differences in age. The sample of the study included 216 candidates and 368 tenured school princ...
