Alkaline phosphatase (ALP), an enzyme involved in mineralization of bone, is incorporated into three hydrogel biomaterials to induce their mineralization with calcium phosphate (CaP). Associative photoproduction of charmed particles near threshold

We calculate the cross section and the beam asymmetry for exclusive photoproduction of charmed particles near threshold (gamma + p --> Lambda (+)(c) (D-0) over bar), in the framework of an effective Lagrangian model. We discuss the sensitivity of these observables to the magnetic moment of the Lambda (c) baryon and of the coupling constant in the p Lambda D-c vertex. Adhesional characteristics of an elastomeric liner composition toward a highly filled composite matrix and metal case were investigated. The system is composed of an excess isocyanate functionality in the elastomer compared to an excess hydroxyl functionality in the composite matrix.
