Lepton flavor violating Z-boson decays induced by scalar unparticle
Iltan, E. O. (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2008-07-01)
We predict the branching ratios of the lepton-flavor violating Z-boson decays Z -> e(+/-)mu(+/-), Z -> e(+/-)tau(+/-) and Z -> mu +/-tau +/- in the case that the lepton-flavor violation is carried by scalar unparticlemediation. We observe that their BRs are strongly sensitive to the unparticle scaling dimension, and the branching ratios can reach values of the order of 10(-8), for the heavy lepton-flavor case, for small values of the scaling dimension.
Lepton flavour violation in unparticle physics
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Gaur, Naveen (Elsevier BV, 2007-11-29)
Recently H. Georgi has introduced an unparticle U in order to describe the low energy physics of a nontrivial scale invariant sector of an effective theory. In this work we have explored the phenomenology of an unparticle using the lepton flavour violating decay mu(-) -> e(-)e(+)e(-), and found that the branching ratio of this decay is strongly dependent on the scaling dimension.
Little groups and Maxwell-type tensors for massive and massless particles
Baskal, S; Kim, YS (IOP Publishing, 1997-11-15)
The massive and massless representations of four-vectors and Maxwell-type tensors are constructed as bilinear combinations of SL(2, C)-spinors and are evaluated on a unified description upon adopting the group contraction procedure of O(3)-like little group to E(2)-like little group. Contraction of massive particle representations leads to gauge-dependent vectors as well as the gauge-independent ''state vectors'' constructed by Weinberg. It, is shown that gauge degrees of freedom associated with the transla...
Lepton flavor violatingZ→l1+l2−decay in the general two Higgs doublet model
Iltan, E. O.; Turan, İsmail (American Physical Society (APS), 2001-11-28)
We calculate lepton flavor violating Z-->l(1)(+)l(2)(-) decay in the framework of the general two Higgs doublet model. In our calculations we use the constraints for the Yukawa couplings (xi) over bar (D)(N,taue) and (xi) over bar (D)(N,taumu) coming from the experimental result of the muon electric dipole moment and upper limit of BR(mu-->egamma). We observe that it is possible to reach the present experimental upper limits for the branching ratios of such Z decays in model III.
Kalman based neural network analysis with resampling methods for longitudinal aerodynamic coefficient estimation
Millidere, Murat; Kurt, Huseyin Burak; Balli, Hakan; Uğur, Ömür (2020-01-01)
© 2020, American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics Inc, AIAA. All rights reserved.Accurateness of the approximated aerodynamic characteristics of an unstable aircraft is considerably significant in flight control system design or high-fidelity flight simulator development. Classical system identification technique consist of the equation and output error methods which are strongly influenced by data quality. Accordingly, unsatisfactory results may be arisen due to measurement or process noise. Conse...
