Unparticle physics in single top signals
ALAN, AHMET TURAN; Pak, N. K.; ŞENOL, ABDULKADİR (IOP Publishing, 2008-01-01)
We study the single production of top quarks in e(+)e(-), ep and pp collisions in the context of unparticle physics through the Flavor Violating (FV) unparticle vertices and compute the total cross-sections for single top production as functions of scale dimension d(u). We find that among all, LHC is the most promising facility to probe the unparticle physics via single top quark production processes. Copyright (C) EPLA, 2008.
Unparticle physics effects in Lambda(b)->Lambda plus missing energy processes
Alıyev, Tahmasıb (Elsevier BV, 2008-04-17)
We study unparticle physics effects in Lambda(b) --> Lambda + missing energy decay with polarized Lambda(b) and Lambda baryons. The sensitivity of the branching ratio of this decay and polarizations of Lambda(b) and Lambda baryons on the scale dimension d(U) and effective cut-off parameter Lambda(U) are discussed.

Unparticle physics in top pair signals at the LHC and ILC
ALAN, AHMET TURAN; Pak, N. K. (IOP Publishing, 2008-10-01)
We study the effects of unparticle physics in the pair productions of top quarks at the LHC and ILC. By considering vector, tensor and scalar unparticle operators, as appropriate, we compute the total cross-sections for pair production processes depending on the scale dimension d(U). We find that the existence of unparticles would lead to measurable enhancements on the SM predictions at the LHC. In the case of ILC this may become two orders of magnitude larger than that of SM, for smaller values of d(U), a ...
Unsupervised machine learning in 5G networks for low latency communications
Balevi, Eren; Gitlin, Richard D. (2018-02-02)
© 2017 IEEE.This paper incorporates fog networking into heterogeneous cellular networks that are composed of a high power node (HPN) and many low power nodes (LPNs). The locations of the fog nodes that are upgraded from LPNs are specified by modifying the unsupervised soft-clustering machine learning algorithm with the ultimate aim of reducing latency. The clusters are constructed accordingly so that the leader of each cluster becomes a fog node. The proposed approach significantly reduces the latency with ...
