STUDIES ON ALMOST PERFECT NONLINEAR FUNCTIONS
Batmaz Keskin, Güneş; Özbudak, Ferruh; Department of Cryptography (2022-9-01)
This thesis presents some parts of our continuing work on Almost Perfect Nonlinear( APN) Functions. Through this thesis, first of all the significance of APN functions and couple of generation methods for APN Functions are presented. Some methods are considered in a deeper context. Finally various algorithms to obtain functions related APN functions using Python programming language have implemented and some results are analyzed.

Studies on the generalized and reverse generalized bessel polynomials
Polat, Zeynep Sonay; Taşeli, Hasan; Department of Mathematics (2004)
The special functions and, particularly, the classical orthogonal polynomials encountered in many branches of applied mathematics and mathematical physics satisfy a second order differential equation, which is known as the equation of the hypergeometric type. The variable coefficients in this equation of the hypergeometric type are of special structures. Depending on the coefficients the classical orthogonal polynomials associated with the names Jacobi, Laguerre and Hermite can be derived as solutions of th...
Studies of jet mass in dijet and W/Z plus jet events
Chatrchyan, S.; et. al. (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2013-05-01)
Invariant mass spectra for jets reconstructed using the anti-k(T) and Cambridge-Aachen algorithms are studied for different jet "grooming" techniques in data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5 fb(-1), recorded with the CMS detector in proton-proton collisions at the LHC at a center-of-mass energy of 7 TeV. Leading-order QCD predictions for inclusive dijet and W/Z+jet production combined with parton-shower Monte Carlo models are found to agree overall with the data, and the agreement improves wit...
