DSP microcontroller-based fuzzy control of a DC/DC parallel resonant converter using phase-shift PWM technique
Iskender, Ires; Uctug, Yildirim; Ertan, Hulusi Bülent (2006-01-01)
Purpose - To analyze the operating performance of an ac-dc-ac-dc PWM parallel resonant converter operating at lagging power factor mode controlled based on fuzzy logic control method.

Dspptool: a tool to support distributed software project planning
Yağız, Sevil Yılmaz; Demirörs, Onur; Department of Information Systems (2004)
This thesis focuses on the development of a distributed software project planning tool that enables more than one participant to prepare the different parts of the project scope, schedule and task assignment by allowing to utilize the predefined organizational level processes. For this purpose, we discuss the need for a distributed software project planning tool, identify tool requirements and compare available tools with respect to the requirements. In addition, we evaluate the tool based on two criteria: ...
DSMC Simulations of low-density choked flows in parallel-plate channels
Ilgaz, M; Çelenligil, Mehmet Cevdet (2002-07-25)
Rarefied choked flows in parallel-plate channels have been studied using the direct simulation Monte Carlo technique. Calculations are performed for various transitional flows, and results are presented for the computed flowfield quantities, wall pressures and discharge coefficients. Comparisons are made with the available experimental data, and the physical and numerical factors which affect the solutions are discussed. Separate calculations are performed for the "nearly-incompressible" rarefied channel fl...
DsTau: study of tau neutrino production with 400 GeV protons from the CERN-SPS
Aoki, Shigeki; et. al. (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2020-01-01)
In the DsTau experiment at the CERN SPS (NA65), an independent and direct way to measure tau neutrino production following high energy proton interactions was proposed. As the main source of tau neutrinos is a decay of D-s mesons, produced in proton-nucleus interactions, the project aims at measuring a differential cross section of this reaction. The experimental method is based on a use of high resolution emulsion detectors for effective registration of events with short lived particle decays. Here we pres...
