Data on cities that are benchmarked with the sustainable development of energy, water and environment systems index and related crosssectoral scenario
Kılkış, Şiir (2019-06-01)
The data set of this article is related to an original research article entitled "Benchmarking the sustainability of urban energy, water and environment systems and envisioning a cross-sectoral scenario for the future" Kilkis , 2019. The data article provides data compilations in the context of benchmarking studies based on the composite indicator of the Sustainable Development of Energy, Water and Environment Systems City Index. Data tables for the seven dimensions of the index are provided for 35 main ind...
Performances of Bayesian model selection criteria for generalized linear models with non-ignorably missing covariates
Kalaylıoğlu Akyıldız, Zeynep Işıl (2014-08-01)
This article deals with model comparison as an essential part of generalized linear modelling in the presence of covariates missing not at random (MNAR). We provide an evaluation of the performances of some of the popular model selection criteria, particularly of deviance information criterion (DIC) and weighted L (WL) measure, for comparison among a set of candidate MNAR models. In addition, we seek to provide deviance and quadratic loss-based model selection criteria with alternative penalty terms targeti...

Estimate of the long-distance contribution through b -> s psi to the B-s ->gamma gamma decay rate
Hiller, G; Iltan, EO (World Scientific Pub Co Pte Lt, 1997-12-07)
The B-s --> phi psi decay is modeled through the inclusive b --> s phi decay. Using the vector meson dominance model, the amplitude for the chain process B-s --> phi psi --> phi gamma --> gamma gamma is estimated and it is found to be at most 4% of the corresponding amplitude from the O-7 type LD contribution. The intermediate amplitude for the process B-s --> phi gamma is compared with the corresponding one obtained by a different approach based on the interaction of the virtual charm quark loop with soft,...
