MOKA An object oriented framework for FMI co simulation
Aslan, Memduha; Oğuztüzün, Mehmet Halit S.; Durak, Umut; Taylan, Koray (null; 2015-07-23)
An Functional Mockup Unit (FMU) is defined as a model that realizes the Functional Mock-up Interface (FMI)which provides a standard interface for dynamic system models to run in both model-exchange and co-simulation settings. While the standard provides a solid model interface specification, it does not provide its user with any guidelines on how to develop FMUs and how to integrate them for co-simulation. In this paper, MOKA, an object-oriented co-simulation framework for FMUs, is introduced. Based on FMI,...
Moller energy-momentum prescription for a Locally Rotationally Symmetric space-time
Aydogdu, Oktay (World Scientific Pub Co Pte Lt, 2006-07-20)
The energy distribution in the Locally Rotationally Symmetric (LRS) Bianchi type II space-time is obtained by considering the Mauler energy-momentum definition in both Einstein's theory of general relativity and teleparallel theory of relativity. The energy distribution which includes both the matter and gravitational field is found to be zero in both of these different gravitation theories. This result agrees with previous works of Cooperstock and Israelit, Rosen, Johri et al., Banerjee and Sen, Vargas, an...

Moller's energy in the dyadosphere of a charged black hole
Aydogdu, Oktay; Salti, Mustafa (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2006-08-01)
We use the Moller energy-momentum complex both in general relativity and teleparallel gravity to evaluate energy distribution (due to matter plus fields including gravity) in the dyadosphere region for Reissner-Nordstrom black hole. We found the same and acceptable energy distribution in these different approaches of the Moller energy-momentum complex. Our teleparallel. gravitational result is also independent of the teleparallel dimensionless coupling constant, which means that it is valid in any teleparal...
Beauville structures in p-groups
Gül, Şükran; Ercan, Gülin; Fernández-Alcober, Gustavo Adolfo; Department of Mathematics (2016)
Given a finite group G and two elements x, y in G, we denote by Sigma(x,y) the union of all conjugates of the cyclic subgroups generated by x, y and xy. Then G is called a Beauville group of unmixed type if the following conditions hold: (i) G is a 2-generator group. (ii) G has two generating sets {x1,y1} and {x2, y2} such that Sigma (x1, y1) intersection Sigma(x2, y2) is 1. In this case, {x1, y1} and {x2, y2} are said to form a Beauville structure for G. The main purpose of this thesis is to extend the kn...
