Radiative Omega(Q)* -> Omega(Q)gamma and Xi(Q)* -> Xi(Q)'gamma transitions in light cone QCD
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; SUNDU PAMUK, HAYRİYE (2015-01-14)
We calculate the magnetic dipole and electric quadrupole moments associated with the radiative Omega(Q)* -> Omega(Q)gamma and Xi(Q)* -> Xi(Q)'gamma transitions with Q = b or c in the framework of light cone QCD sum rules. It is found that the corresponding quadrupole moments are negligibly small, while the magnetic dipole moments are considerably large. A comparison of the results of the considered multi-pole moments as well as corresponding decay widths with the predictions of the vector dominance model is...
Radiative decays of decuplet to octet baryons in light cone QCD
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Özpineci, Altuğ (Elsevier BV, 2006-01-02)
The radiative decays of decuplet to octet baryons are analyzed within the light cone QCD sum rules framework. The electromagnetic transition form factors for these decays are calculated at q(2) = 0 up to twist-4 accuracy for photon wave functions and including first order strange quark mass corrections. A comparison of our results with predictions of lattice theory and existing experimental data is presented. (c) 2005 Published by Elsevier B.V.
Radiative B-*->B gamma and D-*->D gamma decays in light-cone QCD sum rules
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Iltan, E; Pak, NK (1996-07-01)
The radiative decays B*(D*)-->B(D)gamma are investigated in the framework of light-cone QCD sum rules. The transition amplitude and decay rates are estimated. It is shown that our results for the branching ratios of D meson decays are in good agreement with the existing experimental data.
Raloxifene-/raloxifene-poly(ethylene glycol) conjugate-loaded microspheres: A novel strategy for drug delivery to bone forming cells
Kavas, Aysegul; Keskin, Dilek; Altunbas, Korhan; Tezcaner, Ayşen (2016-08-20)
Raloxifene (Ral)- or Ral-poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) conjugate-loaded microspheres were prepared with poly(e-caprolactone) (PCL) alone or with the blend of PCL and poly(D,L-lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA) to provide controlled and sustained Ral release systems. Benefits of these formulations were evaluated on bone regeneration. Ral-loaded PCL microspheres had the highest encapsulation efficiency (70.7 +/- 5.0%) among all groups owing to high hydrophobic natures of both Ral and PCL. Cumulative amount of Ral rel...
Radiative decays of the heavy tensor mesons in light cone QCD sum rules
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (American Physical Society (APS), 2019-01-11)
The transition form factors of the radiative decays of the heavy tensor mesons to heavy pseudoscalar and heavy vector mesons are calculated in the framework of the light-cone QCD sum rules method at the point Q(2) = 0. Using the obtained values of the transition form factors at the point Q(2) = 0, the corresponding decay widths are estimated. The results show that the radiative decays of the heavy-light tensor mesons could potentially be measured in the future planned experiments at LHCb.
