Radiative transfer in participating media with collimated short-pulse Gaussian irradiation
Okutucu Özyurt, Hanife Tuba (IOP Publishing, 2006-05-07)
Radiative transfer in a one-dimensional absorbing and isotropically scattering plane-parallel grey medium with a collimated short-pulse Gaussian irradiation on one of its boundaries is studied. The medium is non-emitting and the boundaries are non-reflecting and non-refracting. The Galerkin method is extended for the solution of the transient radiative transfer problem. The transient transmittance and reflectance of the medium are evaluated for various optical thicknesses, scattering albedos and pulse durat...
Radiative decays of the p-wave charmed heavy baryons
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2019-05-23)
The radiative decays of the p-wave charmed heavy baryons to the ground state baryon states are studied in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules method. Firstly, the transition form factors that describe these transitions are estimated and then, using these form factors, the corresponding decay widths are calculated. A comparison of our results for the decay widths with those predicted by the other approaches existing in the literature is performed.
RADIATIVE D-ASTERISK MESON DECAYS IN QCD SUM-RULES
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; PAK, NK (1994-08-11)
The radiative decays D(a)* - D(a)gamma is investigated in the framework of QCD sum rules. The transition amplitude and decay rates are estimated. It is shown that our results on branching ratios are in good agreement with the existing experimental data.
Radiative rho(+)->pi(+)gamma decay in light cone QCD
Gokalp, A; Yılmaz, Osman (2001-10-01)
We investigate the radiative rho (+) --> pi (+)gamma decay in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules. We estimate the coupling constant gp,, for this decay and using this value of the coupling constant, we calculate the decay width of the rho (+) --> pi (+)gamma decay. Our result is in good agreement with the experimental value.
