CP-odd phase effects in a left-right symmetric chargino sector

The left-right supersymmetric model contains a right-handed gaugino, as well as several Higgsinos, in addition to the minimal supersymmetric model. Thus several CP-noninvariant phases appear in this sector. We analyze their impact on chargino masses and find that only two combinations are physically relevant. We then study the production of charginos in e(+)e(-) annihilation and chargino decays into a sneutrino and a lepton, and investigate the effects of CP-phases. We also study the CP-odd asymmetry in the production and subsequent decay at the linear collider with longitudinally polarized beams and find a large enhancement when the decay channel to the right sneutrino is available. The effects of the phases in the left-right supersymmetric chargino sector are different from the minimal supersymmetric standard model, and signals from this sector would be able to distinguish between different gauge symmetries.

Noncommutative Q-lumps
Kürkcüoğlu, Seçkin (American Physical Society (APS), 2008-11-01)
Q-lumps associated with the noncommutative CP(N) model in 2+1 dimensions are constructed. These are solitonic configurations which are time dependent and rotate with constant angular frequency. Energy of the Q-lumps is E=2 pi k+alpha|Q|, and we find that in a regime in which the noncommutativity parameter theta is related to the moduli determining the size of the lumps, it can be viewed to depend on theta via the Noether charge Q. We present a collective coordinate-type analysis signalling that CP(1) Q-lump...
Double-lepton polarization asymmetries and polarized forward backward asymmetries in the rare b -> sl(+)l(-) decays in a single universal extra dimension scenario
BASHIRY, VALİ; Bayar, M.; Azizi, K. (American Physical Society (APS), 2008-08-01)
We study the double-lepton polarization asymmetries and single and double-lepton polarization forward-backward asymmetries of the rare b -> sl(+)l(-) mode within the standard model and in the Appelquist-Cheng-Dobrescu model, which is a new physics scenario with a single universal extra dimension. In particular, we examine the sensitivity of the observables to the radius R of the compactified extra dimension, which is the new parameter in this new physics model.
Non Linear Sigma Model on the Fuzzy Supersphere
Kürkcüoğlu, Seçkin (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2004-03-01)
In this note we develop fuzzy versions of the supersymmetric non-linear sigma model on the supersphere S-(2,S-2). In [1] Bott projectors have been used to obtain the fuzzy CP1 model. Our approach utilizes the use of supersymmetric extensions of these projectors. Here we obtain these (super) -projectors and quantize them in a fashion similar to the one given in [1]. We discuss the interpretation of the resulting model as a finite dimensional matrix model.
Scalar neutrinos at the LHC
Demir, Durmus A.; Frank, Mariana; Selbuz, Levent; Turan, İsmail (American Physical Society (APS), 2011-05-03)
We study a softly broken supersymmetric model whose gauge symmetry is that of the standard model gauge group times an extra Abelian symmetry U(1)'. We call this gauge-extended model the U(1)' model, and we study a U(1)' model with a secluded sector such that neutrinos acquire Dirac masses via higher-dimensional terms allowed by the U(1)' invariance. In this model the mu term of the minimal supersymmetric model (MSSM) is dynamically induced by the vacuum expectation value of a singlet scalar. In addition, th...
Double-lepton polarization asymmetries in the exclusive B ->rho l+l(-) decay beyond the standard model
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (American Physical Society (APS), 2005-08-01)
The double-lepton polarization asymmetries in B ->rho l(+)l(-) decay are analyzed in a model independent framework. The general expressions for nine double-polarization asymmetries are calculated. It is shown that the study of the double-lepton polarization asymmetries proves to be a very useful tool in looking for new physics beyond the standard model.
