Conductive polymer nanocomposites of polypropylene and organic field effect transistors with polyethylene gate dielectric
Kanbur, Yasin; Küçükyavuz, Zuhal; Department of Polymer Science and Technology (2011)
One of the aim of this study is to prepare conductive polymer nanocomposites of polypropylene to obtain better mechanical and electrical properties. Composite materials based on conductive fillers dispersed within insulating thermoplastic matrices have wide range of application. For this purpose, conductive polymer nanocomposites of polypropylene with nano dimentional conductive fillers like carbon black, carbon nanotube and fullerene were prepared. Their mechanical, electrical and thermal properties were i...

Conductive polymer composites and copolymers of pyrrole and N-vinylcarbazole
Geissler, Uwe; Hallensleben, Manfred L.; Toppare, Levent Kamil (Elsevier BV, 1991-4)
The synthesis of composites and copolymers of pyrrole and N-vinylcarbazole is described. Both insulating and conducting polymers of N-vinylcarbazole are utilized in the electroinitiated polymerization of pyrrole. The influence of coating either of the conducting polymers prior to the other on the percolating threshold is discussed. The initial presence of both monomers in the reaction medium leads to a copolymer, whereas consecutive electrode coatings from the monomer solution yield inhomogeneous composites...
Conductimetric and potentiometric titration of some hydroxylated cinnamic acids with tetrabutylammonium hydroxide in non-aqueous media
Aktas, AH; Yasar, G; Alsancak, O; Demirci, S (2001-01-01)
In this study, four hydroxycinnamic acids, namely 3,4-dihydroxycinnamic acid, 4-hydroxycinnamic acid, 4-hydroxy -3- methoxycinnamic acid and 4-hydroxy-3,5-dimethoxycinnamic acid, were titrated conductimetrically and potentiometrically using triethylamine and tetrabutylammonium hydroxide in acetonitrile, 2-propanol, and pyridine solvents under a nitrogen atmosphere at 25 degreesC.
