Neutral-State Green Conjugated Polymers from Pyrrole Bis-Substituted Benzothiadiazole and Benzoselenadiazole for Electrochromic Devices
Baran, Derya; Oktem, Gozde; Celebi, Selin; Toppare, Levent Kamil (2011-04-15)
Two donor/acceptor/donor-type pyrrole-incorporated monomers, 4,7-di(1H-pyrrol-2-yl)benzo[c][1,2,5]thiadiazole (M1) and 4,7-di(1H-pyrrol-2-yl) benzo[c][1,2,5] selenadiazole (M2), were synthesized and polymerized electrochemically. The resulting polymers (P1 and P2) were investigated in terms of their electrochromic and optical properties. Spectroelectrochemistry studies revealed that both polymers show two distinct absorptions in both red and blue regions. The absorptions at around 400 and 700 nm correspond ...
Neutralino dark matter in the left-right supersymmetric model
Demir, Durmus A.; Frank, Mariana; Turan, İsmail (American Physical Society (APS), 2006-06-01)
We study the neutralino sector of the left-right supersymmetric model. In addition to the possibilities available in the minimal supersymmetric model, the neutralino states can be superpartners of the U(1)(B-L) gauge boson, the neutral SU(2)(R) gauge boson, or of the Higgs triplets. We analyze neutralino masses and determine the parameter regions for which the lightest neutralino can be one of the new pure states. We then calculate the relic density of the dark matter for each of these states and impose the...
Charged-particle angular correlations in XeXe collisions at root s(NN)=5.44 TeV
Sirunyan, A. M.; et. al. (2019-10-01)
Azimuthal correlations of charged particles in xenon-xenon collisions at a center-of-mass energy per nucleon pair of root s(NN) = 5.44 TeV are studied. The data were collected by the CMS experiment at the LHC with a total integrated luminosity of 3.42 mu b(-1). The collective motion of the system formed in the collision is parametrized by a Fourier expansion of the azimuthal particle density distribution. The azimuthal anisotropy coefficients v(2), v(3), and v(4) are obtained by the scalar-product, two-part...
Charged particle transverse momentum spectra in pp collisions at root s=0.9 and 7 TeV
Chatrchyan, S.; et. al. (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2011-08-01)
The charged particle transverse momentum (p(T)) spectra are presented for pp collisions at root s = 0.9 and 7 TeV. The data samples were collected with the CMS detector at the LHC and correspond to integrated luminosities of 231 mu b(-1) and 2.96 pb(-1), respectively. Calorimeter-based high-transverse-energy triggers are employed to enhance the statistical reach of the high-p(T) measurements. The results are compared with leading and next-to-leading order QCD and with an empirical scaling of measurements at...
