The radiative B --> tau(+)tau(-)gamma decay is investigated in the framework of the Standard Model. When only short (short and long together) distance contributions an taken into account, the Branching Ratio is found as 9.54 x 10(-9) (1.52 x 10(-8)), for the value of the cut delta = 0.01 imposed on the photon energy. Double-lepton polarization asymmetries in the exclusive B ->rho l+l(-) decay beyond the standard model
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (American Physical Society (APS), 2005-08-01)
The double-lepton polarization asymmetries in B ->rho l(+)l(-) decay are analyzed in a model independent framework. The general expressions for nine double-polarization asymmetries are calculated. It is shown that the study of the double-lepton polarization asymmetries proves to be a very useful tool in looking for new physics beyond the standard model.
Scalar a(0)(980) meson in phi ->pi(0)eta gamma decay
Gokalp, A; Kucukarslan, A; Solmaz, S; Yılmaz, Osman (IOP Publishing, 2002-11-01)
We study the radiative decay phi --> pi(0)etagamma within the framework of a phenomenological approach in which the contributions of the rho meson, chiral loop and a(0) meson are considered. We analyse the interference effects between different contributions and utilizing the experimental branching ratio and invariant pi(0)eta mass spectrum for the phi --> pi(0)etagamma decay, we estimate the branching ratio of the phi --> a(0)gamma decay.
Quasi-fission and fusion-fission reactions in Ca-48+Pb-208 collisions at E-c.m.=190 MeV
Yilmaz, O.; Turan, Gürsevil; Yilmaz, B. (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2020-02-05)
The yields of quasifission fragments in the Ca-48+Pb-208 are investigated in the framework of the stochastic mean field (SMF) approach based on the Skyrme-TDHF calculations. A method which combines the microscopic time-dependent Hartree-Fock (TDHF) theory with a statistical de-excitation model, GEMINI++, is used for calculating the yields of fusion-fission fragments after de-excitation processes of primary reaction products which is assumed to be dominated by neutron emission in the present system. b -> s gamma decay in the two Higgs doublet model with flavour changing neutral currents
Alıyev, Tahmasıb (IOP Publishing, 1999-05-01)
We study the b --> s gamma decay including the next-to-leading QCD corrections in the two Higgs doublet model with flavour changing neutral currents at the tree level. We find the constraints to the flavour changing parameters of the model, using the experimental results on the branching ratio of B --> X(s)gamma decay, provided by the CLEO Collaboration. The restrictions coming from the Delta F = 2 (F = K, D, B) mixing and the rho parameter.
DO KAON DECAYS CONSTRAIN THE 5TH FORCE
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; IGNATIEV, AY (Elsevier BV, 1989-04-20)
It is shown that all the gauge invariant models of the fifth force based on SU(2)×U(1)×U′(1) group are consistent with the experimental data on charged kaon decays.
