Using the general form of the baryon currents, we calculate the meson-baryon coupling constants and the F/D ratio within the framework of light cone QCD sum rules in the SU(3) flavor symmetry limit. The dependence of the results on the Dirac structure and on the free parameter b appearing in the general baryon current is considered. The comparison of our results on the F/D ratio with the existing results is presented.

Meson-octet-baryon couplings using light cone QCD sum rules
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Özpineci, Altuğ (American Physical Society (APS), 2006-12-01)
The coupling constants of K and pi mesons with the octet baryons are studied in light cone QCD sum rules taking into account SU(3)(f) flavor symmetry breaking effects, but keeping the SU(2) isospin symmetry intact. It is shown that, in the SU(3)(f) flavor symmetry breaking case, all of the couplings can be written in terms of four universal functions instead of F and D couplings which exist in the SU(3)(f) symmetry case. Radiative phi -> f(0)(980)gamma decay in light cone QCD sum rules
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Özpineci, Altuğ; Savcı, Mustafa (2002-02-21)
The light cone QCD sum rules method is used to calculate the transition form factor for the radiative phi --> f(0gamma) decay, assuming that the quark content of the f(0) meson is pare (s) over bars state. The branching ratio is estimated to be beta(phi --> f(0)gamma) = 3.5 x (1 +/- 0.3) x 10(-4). A comparison of our prediction on branching ratio with the theoretical results and experimental data existing in literature is presented.
Tensor form factors of B -> K-1 transition from QCD light cone sum rules
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (Elsevier BV, 2011-05-30)
The tensor form factors of B into p-wave axial vector meson transition are calculated within light cone QCD sum rules method. The parametrizations of the tensor form factors based on the series expansion are presented.
Radiative Delta -> N gamma decay in light cone QCD
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (1999-12-01)
The g(Delta N gamma) coupling for the Delta-->N gamma decay is calculated in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules and is found to be g(Delta N gamma)=(1.6+/-0.2) GeV-1. Using this value of g(Delta N gamma) we estimate the branching ratio of the Delta(+)-->N gamma decay, which is in a very good agreement with the experimental result. [S0556-2821(99)02023-8].
Magnetic moments of decuplet baryons in light cone QCD
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Özpineci, Altuğ; Savcı, Mustafa (2000-09-01)
We calculate the magnetic moments of decuplet baryons containing strange quarks within the framework of light cone QCD sum rules taking into account the SU(3) flavor symmetry breaking effects. It is obtained that magnetic moments of the neutral Sigma(*0) and Xi(*0) baryons are mainly determined by the SU(3) breaking terms. A comparison of our results on the magnetic moments of the decuplet baryons with the predictions of other approaches is presented.
