Light-cone distribution amplitudes of light J(PC)=2(--) tensor mesons in QCD

2018-06-01
We present a study for two-quark light-cone distribution amplitudes for the 1(3) D-2 light tensor meson states with quantum number J(PC) = 2(--). Because of the G-parity, the chiral-even two-quark light-cone distribution amplitudes of this tensor meson are antisymmetric under the interchange of momentum fractions of the quark and antiquark in the SU(3) limit, while the chiral-odd ones are symmetric. The asymptotic leading-twist LCDAs with the strange quark mass correction are shown. We estimate the relevant parameters, the decay constants fT and f1/T, and first Gegenbauer moment a1/T, by using the QCD sum rule method. These parameters play a central role in the investigation of B meson decaying into the 2(--) tensor mesons. (c) 2018 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V. Magnetic dipole moment of the light tensor mesons in light cone QCD sum rules
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (IOP Publishing, 2010-07-01)
The magnetic dipole moments of the light tensor mesons f(2), a(2) and the strange K-2*(0)(1430) tensor meson are calculated in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules. It is observed that the values of the magnetic dipole moment for the charged tensor particles are considerably different from zero. These values are very close to zero for the light neutral f(2) and a(2) tensor mesons, while it has a small nonzero value for the neutral strange K-2*(0)(1430) tensor meson.
Strong coupling constants of decuplet baryons with vector mesons
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (American Physical Society (APS), 2010-11-10)
We provide a comprehensive study of strong coupling constants of decuplet baryons with light nonet vector mesons in the framework of light cone QCD sum rules. Using the symmetry arguments, we argue that all coupling constants entering the calculations can be expressed in terms of only one invariant function even if the SU(3)(f) symmetry breaking effects are taken into account. We estimate the order of SU(3)(f) symmetry violations, which are automatically considered by the employed approach.
Strong coupling constants of light pseudoscalar mesons with heavy baryons in QCD
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (Elsevier BV, 2011-01-31)
We calculate the strong coupling constants of light pseudoscalar mesons with heavy baryons within the light cone QCD sum rules method. It is shown that sextet-sextet, sextet-antitriplet and antitriplet-antitriplet transitions are described by one universal invariant function for each class. A comparison of our results on the coupling constants with the predictions existing in literature is also presented.
Light vector meson octet-decuplet baryon vertices in QCD
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Özpineci, Altuğ; Savcı, Mustafa (American Physical Society (APS), 2010-03-01)
The strong coupling constants between light vector mesons and octet-decuplet baryons are calculated in framework of the light cone QCD sum rules, taking into account SU(3) flavor symmetry breaking effects. It is shown that all strong coupling constants can be represented in terms of a single universal function. Size of the SU(3) symmetry breaking effects are estimated.
CP asymmetry in charged Higgs decays to chargino-neutralino pairs
Frank, Mariana; Turan, İsmail (American Physical Society (APS), 2007-10-01)
We analyze the charge-parity (CP) asymmetry in the charged Higgs boson decays to chargino-neutralino pairs, H-+/- -> chi(+/-)(i)chi(0)(j), i = 1, 2, j = 1,...,4. We show first that these modes have a large branching ratio for m(H)(+/-) greater than or similar to 600 GeV. We use Cutkosky rules to obtain the analytical formulas needed for the evaluation of the asymmetry under consideration. We then calculate the CP asymmetry in chargino-neutralino decays by including supersymmetric mass bounds, as well as con...
