Recently H. Georgi has introduced an unparticle U in order to describe the low energy physics of a nontrivial scale invariant sector of an effective theory. In this work we have explored the phenomenology of an unparticle using the lepton flavour violating decay mu(-) -> e(-)e(+)e(-), and found that the branching ratio of this decay is strongly dependent on the scaling dimension.

Nucleon electromagnetic form factors in QCD
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Özpineci, Altuğ; Savcı, Mustafa (American Physical Society (APS), 2008-06-01)
The nucleon electromagnetic form factors are calculated in a light cone QCD sum rules framework using the most general form of the nucleon interpolating current. Using two models for the distribution amplitudes, we predict the form factors. The predictions are also compared with existing experimental data. It is shown that our results describe remarkably well the existing experimental data.
Lepton polarization and CP-violating effects in B -> K*tau(+)tau(-) decay in standard and two Higgs doublet models
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (Elsevier BV, 2000-05-25)
The most general model independent expressions for the CP-violating asymmetry, longitudinal, transversal and normal polarizations of leptons are derived. Application of these general results to the concrete models such as Standard model and three different types of two Higgs doublet model is discussed.
Nucleon form factors induced by isovector and isoscalar axial-vector currents in QCD
Alıyev, Tahmasıb (Elsevier BV, 2007-11-15)
Using the most general form of the baryon current, nucleon form factors, induced by isovector and isoscalar axial-vector currents, are studied in the framework of light cone QCD sum rule approach. Comparison of our results on form factors with the existing results and lattice calculations are presented.
Spinodal instabilities in nuclear matter in a stochastic relativistic mean-field approach
Ayik, S.; Yılmaz Tüzün, Özgül; Er, N.; Gokalp, A.; Ring, P. (American Physical Society (APS), 2009-09-01)
Spinodal instabilities and early growth of baryon density fluctuations in symmetric nuclear matter are investigated in the basis of the stochastic extension of the relativistic mean-field approach in the semiclassical approximation. Calculations are compared with the results of nonrelativistic calculations based on Skyrme-type effective interactions under similar conditions. A qualitative difference appears in the unstable response of the system: the system exhibits most unstable behavior at higher baryon d...
Heavy baryon-light vector meson couplings in QCD
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (Elsevier BV, 2011-02-15)
The strong coupling constants of heavy baryons with light vector mesons are calculated in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules using the most general form of the interpolating currents for the heavy baryons. It is shown that the sextet sextet, sextet-antitriplet and antitriplet-antitriplet transitions are described by one invariant function for each class of transitions. The values of the electric and magnetic coupling constants for these transitions are obtained.
