In the title compound, C15H19NO3S, the tricyclodecane part of the molecule can be described in terms of three rings. The C4N ring is in an envelope conformation, as is the C-5 ring. The C5O ring adopts a boat conformation. There are no inter- or intramolecular hydrogen-bonding interactions.

2-[(1RS,3RS,3aRS,6aSR)-5-Benzyl-4,6-dioxo-3-phenyloctahydropyrrolo[3,4-c]pyrrol-1-yl]acetamide
Kudryavtsev, Konstantin V.; Churakov, Andrei V.; Doğan, Özdemir (2011-12-01)
In the title compound, C(21)H(21)N(3)O(3), the relative stereochemistry of the four stereogenic C atoms has been determined. The dihedral angle between the phenyl rings is 77.63 (7)degrees. In the crystal, ribbons spread along the a axis are formed by N-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds. C-H center dot center dot center dot pi interactions also occur.
Ethyl (E)-2-furyl-2-(hydroxyimino)acetate
Ulku, D; Tahir, MN; Demir, Ayhan Sıtkı; Aksoy-Cam, H (1998-01-15)
In the title compound, C8H9NO4, the hydrogen bonds between the oxime O atoms and the N and O atoms of the neighbouring asymmetric unit result in the dimerization of the molecules, with D...A distances of 2.774 (3) and 3.144 (3) Angstrom for O-H ... N and O-H ... O, respectively. The hydrogen-bridged centrosymmetric dimers are cross-linked via additional weaker intermolecular hydrogen bonds between the CH3 group and the other O atom of the dimer, forming a polymeric network. The D...A distance of this second...
1SR,2SR,3SR,4RS,5RS,6RS,7SR,8RS)-7,8-dichlorobicyclo[4.2.0]octa-2,3,4,5-tetrayl tetraacetate
Sahin, Ertan; Kelebekli, Latif; Kara, Yunus; Balcı, Metin (International Union of Crystallography (IUCr), 2006-07-01)
In the title compound, C16H20Cl2O8, the bicyclic system contains a central non-planar cyclohexane ring which is fused to a cyclobutane moiety. The cyclohexane ring has a chair conformation and the whole system adopts a syn conformation. The structure provides information on the stereochemical course of the chlorination, photo-oxidation and hydroxylation steps of the reaction.
Configuration of the Diels–Alder Adduct of Hexachlorocyclopentadiene withL-Menthyl Acrylate
Ülkü, D.; Tahir, M. N.; Demir, A. S.; Akhmedov, I.; Tanyeli, Cihangir (International Union of Crystallography (IUCr), 1997-7-15)
The structure of the title compound, endo-(2R)-(-)-L-menthyl 1,4,5,6,7,7-hexachloro-4-norbornene-2-carboxylate, consists of discrete C18H22CL6O2 molecules related by a twofold screw axis. The relative configuration was determined and the chirality at the unknown centres was assigned on the basis of the known chiral centres of L-menthene. Both the average Csp(2)-Cl, 1.689(5), and Csp(3)-Cl, 1.753(3) Angstrom, distances are a little shorter than the literature values. The six-membered ring of the L-menthyl gr...
Development of the methodology for the synthesis of bis-aminoinositols
Çokol, Nalan Korkmaz; Balcı, Metin; Department of Chemistry (2011)
Cyclitols are cyclic compounds having hydroxyl groups which attached to different carbons on the ring. Cyclitols have attracted a great deal of attention for having diverse biological activities. Cyclic alcohols play an important role in biological processes such as inhibition of glycosidase, cellular recognition, and signal transduction. In addition to this, these compounds are very important molecules due to being capable of using while synthesizing natural products or pharmaceuticals. In this study, deve...
