The electroweak radiative corrections to nu(mu)e scattering are calculated and the vector and axial couplings are obtained. The theoretical results are in good agreement with the experimental data.

QCD sum rule analysis of the rare radiative B(c)-> D(s)*gamma decay
Azizi, K.; Bashiry, V. (American Physical Society (APS), 2007-12-01)
In this work, the radiative B(c)-> D(s)(*)gamma decay is investigated in the framework of QCD sum rules. The transition form factors responsible for the decay are calculated. The total branching ratio for this decay is estimated to be in the order of 10(-5), so this decay can be measurable at LHC in the near future.
mu+N ->tau+N at a muon or neutrino factory
Sher, M; Turan, İsmail (American Physical Society (APS), 2004-01-01)
The experimental discovery of large nu(mu)-nu(tau) mixing indicates that analogous mixing in the charged lepton sector could be substantial. We consider the possibility that if a high intensity muon beam, perhaps at the early stages of a muon or neutrino factory, strikes a nuclear target, then conversion of some of the muons into tau leptons could occur (similar to the conversion of muons to electrons at MECO). Using current experimental limits on rare tau decays to bound the size of the relevant operators,...
Flavor-changing neutral currents transition of the Sigma(Q) to nucleon in full QCD and heavy quark effective theory
AZİZİ, KAZEM; BAYAR, MELAHAT; Zeyrek, Mehmet Tevfik (IOP Publishing, 2010-08-01)
The loop-level flavor-changing neutral currents transitions of the Sigma(b) -> nl(+)l(-) and Sigma(c) -> pl(+)l(-) are investigated in full QCD and heavy quark effective theory in the light cone QCD sum rules approach. Using the most general form of the interpolating current for Sigma(Q), Q = b or c, as members of the recently discovered sextet heavy baryons with spin 1/2 and containing one heavy quark, the transition form factors are calculated using two sets of input parameters entering the nucleon distri...
Radiative decay of the X(3872) as a mixed molecule-charmonium state in effective field theory
Cincioglu, E.; Özpineci, Altuğ (Elsevier BV, 2019-10-10)
Assuming that X(3872) is a mixture between 2P charmonium and (D) over barD* molecular states with J(PC) = 1(++), an analysis of X(3872) radiative decays into J/psi gamma and psi(2S)gamma is presented. The modification of the radiative branching ratio due to possible constructive or destructive interferences between the meson-loop and the short-distance contact term, which is modeled by a charm quark loop, is shown. The model predictions are shown to be compatible with the experimentally determined ratio of ...
Multiparticle correlations and higher order harmonics in pPb collisions at root s(NN)=8.16 TeV
Wang, Quan; et. al. (Elsevier BV, 2019-02-01)
The elliptic and higher-order azimuthal anisotropy Fourier harmonics (v(n)) are obtained for pPb collisions at root s(NN) = 8.16 TeV over a wide range of event multiplicities based on multiparticle correlations. The data were collected by the CMS experiment during the 2016 LHC run. A sample of peripheral PbPb collisions at root s(NN) = 5.02 TeV covering a similar range of event multiplicities to the pPb results is also analyzed for comparison. The ratios of different harmonic moments are obtained for both v...
