Using the most general form of the interpolating current of the heavy spin 1/2, Sigma(b) baryon and distribution amplitudes of the nucleon, the transition form factors of the semileptonic Sigma(b) -> Nl nu decay are calculated in the framework of light-cone QCD sum rules. It is obtained that the form factors satisfy the heavy quark effective theory relations. The obtained results for the related form factors are used to estimate the decay rate of this transition.

Multiparticle correlations and higher order harmonics in pPb collisions at root s(NN)=8.16 TeV
Wang, Quan; et. al. (Elsevier BV, 2019-02-01)
The elliptic and higher-order azimuthal anisotropy Fourier harmonics (v(n)) are obtained for pPb collisions at root s(NN) = 8.16 TeV over a wide range of event multiplicities based on multiparticle correlations. The data were collected by the CMS experiment during the 2016 LHC run. A sample of peripheral PbPb collisions at root s(NN) = 5.02 TeV covering a similar range of event multiplicities to the pPb results is also analyzed for comparison. The ratios of different harmonic moments are obtained for both v...
Vector meson-baryon strong coupling constants in light cone QCD sum rules
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Özpineci, Altuğ; Savcı, Mustafa (American Physical Society (APS), 2009-07-01)
Using the most general form of the interpolating current of the baryons, the strong coupling constants of the light vector mesons with the octet baryons are calculated within the light cone QCD sum rules. The SU(3)(f) symmetry breaking effects are taken into account in the calculations. It is shown that each of the electric and magnetic coupling constants can be described in terms of three universal functions. A detailed comparison of the results of this work on aforementioned couplings with the existing th...
Magnetic dipole moment of the light tensor mesons in light cone QCD sum rules
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (IOP Publishing, 2010-07-01)
The magnetic dipole moments of the light tensor mesons f(2), a(2) and the strange K-2*(0)(1430) tensor meson are calculated in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules. It is observed that the values of the magnetic dipole moment for the charged tensor particles are considerably different from zero. These values are very close to zero for the light neutral f(2) and a(2) tensor mesons, while it has a small nonzero value for the neutral strange K-2*(0)(1430) tensor meson.
Delta pi N coupling constant in light come QCD sum rules
Gokalp, A; Yılmaz, Osman (IOP Publishing, 1999-12-01)
We employ the light cone QCD sum rules to calculate Delta pi N coupling constant by studying the two-point correlation function between the vacuum and the pion state. Our result is consistent with the traditional QCD sum rules calculations and it is in agreement with the experimental value.
Pseudospin and spin symmetry in Dirac-Morse problem with a tensor potential
AYDOĞDU, OKTAY; Sever, Ramazan (Elsevier BV, 2011-09-14)
Under the conditions of the pseudospin and spin symmetry, approximate analytical solutions of the Dirac-Morse problem with Coulomb-like tensor potential are presented. The energy eigenvalue equations are found and corresponding radial wave functions are obtained in terms of confluent hypergeometric functions. The energy eigenvalues are calculated numerically in the absence and presence of the tensor potential. We also investigate the contribution of the potential parameters to the energy splitting of the ps...
