The effect of Ga/In ratio and annealing temperature on the nonlinear absorption behaviors in amorphous TlGaxIn(1-x)S2 (0 ≤ x ≤ 1) chalcogenide thin films
Ünlü, Bekir Asilcan; Karatay, Ahmet; Yüksek, Mustafa; Ünver, Hüseyin; Hasanlı, Nızamı; Elmali, Ayhan (Elsevier BV, 2020-08-01)
The amorphous semiconductor TlGaxIn(1-x)S2 (0 <= x <= 1) chalcogenide thin films were prepared with 70 nm thicknesses by using vacuum evaporation technique. The nonlinear absorption properties of the films were studied by Z-scan technique. The energy band gap values were calculated by using linear absorption spectra. The effect of Ga/In ratio leads to increase 0.22 eV in band gap energy. To derive the transmission in open aperture Z-scan data, a theoretical model incorporating two photon and free carrier ab...
The effect of long-term ambient aging on the mechanical properties of conducting polysiloxane-polypyrrole graft copolymers
Biran, C; Toppare, Levent Kamil; Tincer, T; Yagci, Y; Harabagiu, V (2003-05-01)
The mechanical behavior of conducting polysiloxane-polypyrrole graft copolymers has been investigated as a function of ambient oxidative aging period. Graft copolymers of N-pyrrolyl-terminated polydimethylsiloxane (SPPy) with pyrrole were synthesized electrochemically at constant potential by using p -toluene sulfonic acid as the supporting electrolyte. Mechanical tests were performed on both unwashed and dichloromethane -washed copolymers after aging. An initial decrease followed by an increase in the tens...
The Effect of Pour Point Depressant on the Flow Behavior of Crude Oils
Kök, Mustafa Verşan (2014-01-17)
In this research, pour point and rheological experiments were carried out on three different crude oils those doped with pour point depressant. It was observed that when the amount of pour point depressant was increased from 500 to 2,000 ppm, pour points of all the crude oils were decreased considerably. In rheological experiments, shear rate versus shear stress values were obtained for all the crude oil samples with and without additives. It was observed that the Bingham Plastic model excellently fit the e...
The effect of film thickness, Se/S ratio and annealing temperature on the nonlinear absorption behaviors in amorphous GaSexS1-x (0 <= x <= 1) thin films
Isik, Pinar; KARATAY, AHMET; YAĞLIOĞLU, HALİME GÜL; ELMALI, Ayhan; Kurum, Ulas; ATEŞ, AYTÜNÇ; Hasanlı, Nızamı (2013-02-01)
The amorphous GaSexS1-x (0 <= x <= 1) semiconductor thin films were prepared with different thickness by using vacuum evaporation technique. The nonlinear absorption properties of the films were studied by Z-scan and ultrafast pump-probe techniques. Linear absorption measurements showed blue shift in energy as the film thickness increased. This can be attributed quantum confinement effect due to particle size decreasing with increasing film thickness. Pure GaSe and GaSexS1-x films exhibit saturable absorpti...
The effect of substrate and post annealing temperature on the electrical properties of polycrystalline InSe thin films
Parlak, Mehmet (1999-06-01)
The correlation between the electrical properties of vacuum evaporated InSe thin films and the growth conditions as well as post depositional annealing has been investigated. The electrical properties of the deposited films have been studied in the temperature range of 50-320 K. The donor levels present in the InSe films have been analysed by applying the single donor-single acceptor model to the electrical data.
