We propose a method for model-independent determination of the Wilson coefficients in inclusive b --> si(+)l(-) decay, by employing the double energetic distribution of the lepton pair.

The DRBEM solution of incompressible MHD flow equations
Bozkaya, Nuray; Tezer, Münevver (Wiley, 2011-12-10)
This paper presents a dual reciprocity boundary element method (DRBEM) formulation coupled with an implicit backward difference time integration scheme for the solution of the incompressible magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) flow equations. The governing equations are the coupled system of Navier-Stokes equations and Maxwell's equations of electromagnetics through Ohm's law. We are concerned with a stream function-vorticity-magnetic induction-current density formulation of the full MHD equations in 2D. The stream f...
THE G(B)ASTERISK(B-PI) COUPLING-CONSTANT IN QCD SUM-RULES
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; ILTAN, E; PAK, NK (1995-05-25)
The decay constant for the strong off-shell B* --> B pi decay in the context of QCD sum rules is calculated.
The lambda-phase transitions in NH4Cl
Yurtseven, Hasan Hamit (Informa UK Limited, 1995-01-01)
We show here the correlations between the volume changes and the vibrational frequencies of the disorder-induced Raman modes of NH4Cl near the lambda-phase transitions of first order (P=0), tricritical (P similar or equal to 1.6 kbar) and second order (P similar or equal to 2.8 kbar). We obtain the values of the mode Gruneisen parameter for each phonon across the lambda-phase transitions and use them to predict the Raman frequencies for the phonon modes studied as functions of temperature in the lambda-phas...
THE NONLINEAR COLD PLASMA-BUNCHED BEAM INTERACTION AND THE PLASMA WAKEFIELD ACCELERATOR CASE
BILIKMEN, S; NAZIH, RM (IOP Publishing, 1993-02-01)
In this paper, a nonlinear analytical solution for a cold plasma-bunched beam system based on the Hamiltonian formalism where alpha = n(b)/n0 and beta(phi) = upsilon(phi)/c have been taken as parameters matching between zero and unity is given. The oscillation limiting energies, frequencies and transformer ratios have been carried out in general for both the one-dimensional and the case where a small transverse component of motion is included. The plasma wakefield accelerator has been treated as a special c...
The radiative K* meson decays in QCD
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Iltan, E (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 1996-06-01)
The g(K0*K0 gamma) and g(K+*K+gamma) coupling constants and the radiative decay widths are calculated in the context of QCD sum rules. It is found that the discrepancy between the experimental data and theoretical results still exists.
