Using the most general, model-independent effective Hamiltonian, the rare B-s --> gammanu(ν) over bar decay with polarized photon is studied. The sensitivity of the branching ratio and photon polarization to the new Wilson coefficients are investigated. It is shown that these physical observables are sensitive to the vector and tensor type interactions, which would be useful in search of new physics.

Rare B -> K*nu(nu)over-bar decay beyond standard model
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Özpineci, Altuğ; Savcı, Mustafa (2001-05-03)
Using the most general, model-independent form of effective Hamiltonian, the exclusive, rare B --> K*v (v) over bar decay is analyzed. The sensitivity of the branching ratio and missing mass-squared spectrum of the B --> K*v (v) over bar decay, when K* is polarized longitudinally or transversally, on the new Wilson coefficients is discussed. A general analysis of the lepton polarizations in B-s ->gamma l(+)l(-) decays
Yilmaz, UO; Sirvanli, BB; Turan, Gürsevil (Elsevier BV, 2004-08-02)
We present a general analysis of the lepton polarizations in the rare B-s --> gammal(+)l(-) decays by using the most general model-independent form of the effective Hamiltonian. The sensitivity of the longitudinal, transverse and normal polarizations of final state leptons, as well as lepton-antilepton combined asymmetries, on the new Wilson coefficients are investigated. It has been shown that all these physical observables are very sensitive to the existence of new physics beyond the standard model and th...
PROPERTIES OF BC-MESON IN QCD SUM-RULES
Alıyev, Tahmasıb (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 1992-06-01)
We have studied the masses of the scalar, pseudoscalar and vector states of B(c)-meson and their decay constants in the framework of the QCD sum rules. PACS 12.90 - Miscellaneous theoretical ideas and models.
Eigenvalues and eigenfunctions of Woods-Saxon potential in PT-symmetric quantum mechanics
Berkdemir, Ayse; Berkdemir, Cuneyt; Sever, Ramazan (World Scientific Pub Co Pte Lt, 2006-09-07)
Using the Nikiforov-Uvarov method which is based on solving the second-order differential equations, we firstly analyzed the energy spectra and eigenfunctions of the Woods-Saxon potential. In the framework of the PT-symmetric quantum mechanics, we secondly solved the time-independent Schrodinger equation for the PT and non-PT-symmetric version of the potential. It is shown that the discrete energy eigenvalues of the non-PT-symmetric potential consist of the real and imaginary parts, but the PT-symmetric one...
Nonlocal regularisation of noncommutative field theories
Govindarajan, T. R.; Kürkcüoğlu, Seçkin; PANERO, Marco (World Scientific Pub Co Pte Lt, 2006-08-10)
We study noncommutative field theories, which are inherently nonlocal, using a Poincare-invariant regularisation scheme which yields an effective, nonlocal theory for energies below a cutoff scale. After discussing the general features and the peculiar advantages of this regularisation scheme for theories defined in noncommutative spaces, we focus our attention on the particular case when the noncommutativity parameter is inversely proportional to the square of the cutoff, via a dimensionless parameter eta....
