Using the pictures for X(3872) as a mixture of charmonium and molecular D*D-0(0) states; Y(3940) as a mixture of chi(c0) and D*D-/* states, and Y (4260) as amixture of the tetra-quark state with charmonium states, the corresponding mixing angles are estimated within the QCD sum rules. We find that our predictions for the mixing angles of the X(3872), Y (4260), and Y (3940) states are considerably smaller compared to work in which the mixing angles are estimated from the condition in reproducing the mass of these states. Our conclusion is that the considered pictures for the X(3872), Y (4260), and Y (3940) states are not successful in describing these states.

Design and implementation of high fill factor structures on low-cost uncooled infrared sensors
Ertürk, Ozan; Akın, Tayfun; Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (2015)
This thesis presents the design and implementation steps of high fill factor structures for existing SOI diode low-cost microbolometer FPAs. Advancements in uncooled infrared detectors enable high performance military grade uncooled microbolometers as well as ultra-low-cost infrared imagers for civilian applications. The trend in uncooled microbolometers to reduce the pixel pitch has become increasingly significant to lower the cost of detector and system integration due to optics, and increase spatial reso...
Calculation of a temperature-concentration phase diagram of mixed LiK(1-x)Rb(x)SO(4) crystals
Yurtseven, Hasan Hamit (IOP Publishing, 2008-04-01)
We study here the temperature-concentration (T-X) phase diagram of mixed LiK(1-x)Rb(x)SO(4) crystals obtained using a mean field model. We expand the free energies of phases II, III, IV, and V in terms of the order parameters and calculate the phase line equations for the II-III, III-IV, and IV-V transitions in this crystal. By fitting our phase line equations to the experimental data, we obtain a T-X phase diagram of mixed LiK(1-x)Rb(x)SO(4) crystals. Using the phase line equations derived from our mean fi...
Detecting the long-distance structure of the $$X(3872)$$ X ( 3872 )
Guo, Feng-Kun; Hidalgo-Duque, Carlos; Nieves, Juan; Ozpineci, Altug; Valderrama, Manuel Pavón (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2014-5)
We study the X(3872) → D0D¯ 0π0 decay within a DD¯ ∗ molecular picture for the X(3872) state. This decay mode is more sensitive to the long-distance structure of the X(3872) resonance than its J/ψππ and J/ψ3π decays, which are mainly controlled by the details of the X(3872) wave function at short distances. We show that the D0D¯ 0 final state interaction can be important, and that a precise measurement of this partial decay width can provide valuable information on the interaction strength between t...
Calculation of the T-X phase diagram for a mixture of liquid crystals
Yurtseven, Hasan Hamit; Salihoglu, S (2000-12-01)
In this study we calculate the T-X phase diagram for a mixture of liquid crystals. In this calculation we use a mean field theory We fit our calculated phase line equations to the experimental data from the literature. There is a very good agreement between our calculated and the experimentally observed phase diagram.
INVESTIGATION OF VARIATION OF TRIAXIALTY AND LODE ANGLE PARAMETER VALUES IN SHEET METAL FORMING PROCESSES
Güzelderen, Tolunay; Darendeliler, Haluk; Department of Mechanical Engineering (2022-8-29)
The aim of this study is to find out the relations of stress triaxiality and Lode angle parameter with the deformation characteristics of deep drawing process. For this purpose, deep drawing process is analyzed numerically by using different yield criteria, ductile criteria and hardening models for two different sheet materials. The simulations are carried out by using the finite element method. Square and cylindrical cups made of Al-2024 aluminum and AISI 304 steel are formed. Von Mises and Hill48 yield cr...
